YESTERDAY Christian Dior’s announced new artistic director; replacing
designer John Galliano is Raf Simons.
Seven months after Galliano’s conviction in Paris for
drunken anti-Semitic ravings, Simons who began his career as a furniture
designer and has his own menswear label will present his first show for the
well-known Dior fashion house this July.
This is very exciting news for Simon who will assist for haute couture, ready-to-wear, and women’s accessories.
Dior is one of the world’s top fashion houses creating couture to cosmetics. His talent will definitely shine with Dior.
