One of my favorite style icons for many reasons is Sarah Jessica Parker. She is well known in the fashion world to be fashion forward yet she makes it look so effortless. She wears clothes so well it’s hard to say I have ever seen a bad picture of her. Her style is chic, alluring, and yet always so classy. She is not scared to take risk and she does it so well. And like I said there are many reasons why I adore her, what do you think of her?
Color blocking was seen all over Spring/Summer Fashions shows last year but in todays BCBGMAXAZRIA show, Azria featured color blocking with muted colors.
Now color blocking only takes a few steps; first you need to make sure the color you choose compliments you. Always remember to only use ONE neon color. Now the other two colors you choose should be a bold color and one neutral. Keep in mind neutral doesn’t just mean nude. Use white, gray, brown, and black to hold your outfit together and you will be all set. I’m curious how many of you have really done this and is this something you will continue to do?
